Pokhara's tourism potential discussed in Patana

PATANA (INDIA), APRIL 18: Pokhara's tourism potential has been discussed in Patana of India.  At a program held by the Gandaki Chapter of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) today, such a discussion took place between the tourism entrepreneurs of Pokhara and Patana

The entrepreneurs of Pokhara said it is a must-visit destination in Nepal which is not only geographically close to India but also both naturally and culturally super. Here the people of neighboring India can easily visit to take full joy",  Chairperson of the Pokhara Tourism Council, Pom Narayan Shrestha, said. 

 Chairperson of the Gandaki chapter of the NATTA, Hariram Adhikari said India has long been an important tourism source market for  Nepal. He also informed me that the prime aim of the program was to assess the experiences of Indian tourists during their visit to Pokhara and explore methods to improve them in the coming days.

Likewise,  entrepreneurs of Patana had reflected on their experience and feeling in Pokhara while speaking on the occasion, Secretary of the Tourism Association of Bihar, Prakash Chandra, termed Pokhara as one of their preferred destinations. "Most of the Indian tourists generally spend a good amount of money during their visits here." He suggested that the Nepali entrepreneurs make online payments easy and smooth in Pokhara so as to attract more tourists from Patana in particular and India in general. 

Simiarly, the senior tourism consultant of Patana, Sanjaya Sharma, stressed the need to enhance the Pokhara-Patana connectivity through direct air flights. "It will help the tourism sector of Pokhara grow further. 

On the occasion, the entrepreneurs of both Pokhra and Patan also discussed about the business- to- business (B2B) partnership for tourism promotion.
