NAC resumes Kathmandu-Mumbai flight

KATHMANDU, MARCH 28  : After a halt of two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has resumed its air flights from Kathmndu to the Indian city of Mumbai on Sunday.

The NAC plans to conduct three such flights in a week.  The Indian government lifted the pandemic-induced restrictions on internatinal air service from yesterday itself.   With the latest resumption of air travel between the two countries, the bilateral  Air Bubble Agreement have also been annuled.

As per  this deal, only Air India and NAC representing India and Nepal respectively were permitted to operate flights between Delhi and Kathmandu by  carrying the citizens of two countries.
