LIC Nepal to issue right shares worth Rs 2.34 billion

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 30: In a bid to increase its paid-up capital to Rs 5 billion in minimum as directed by the Insurance Board, Life Insurance Corporation Nepal is going to issue the right shares. 

The annual general meeting of the corporation held yesterday in the capital decided to issue such shares worth Rs  2.34 billion. The very amount accounts for some 88 percent of its current paid-up capital that stands at Rs 2.65 billion.
