QFX Cinemas, Khalto forge exclusive partnership
KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 1 : QFX Cinemas and Khalti have forged an exclusive partnership for movie ticket purchases through their App. They did so organising a press meet in the capital yesterday. With this partnership, the QFX customers can now buy movie tickets either from QFX App and website or Khalti App. Khalti users will be able to buy QFX movie tickets in 50 seconds from the Khalti app and this service is exclusively available at the Khalti app.
Before this partnership, customers of QFX could only buy movies by logging into the QFX App or website. After buying tickets from Khalti App, users will also receive QFX’s Loyalty Points and Khalti Points.
Khalti is the Preferred Payment Partner of QFX Cinemas for the next 3 years. The ticketing feature in Khalti App was live and available for use starting Bhadra 1. Preferred payment partner entails various marketing collaborations including ticket purchase through Khalti App, QR placements, branding on the QFX website and App, campaign tie-ups, and advertisement placement in on-screen and off-screen branding areas.

QFX Cinemas is a brand owned and operated by Team Quest Pvt. Ltd. and has been operating theatres under a franchise model in various locations in Nepal. QFX Cinemas currently operates in 11 locations including Kathmandu Valley (Civil Mall, Labim Mall, Chhaya Center, Bhatbhateni Bhaktapur, Durbar Cinemax), Bhatbhateni Biratnagar, Jalma Narayangadh, Bageshwori Nepalgunj, One Stop Mall Birtamode, Bhatbhateni Butwal, Apex Mall Damauli, and its 12th location is opening soon in Birgunj.
In addition to technology and physical infrastructure for a “world-class” movie experience, QFX cinemas offer extended food and beverage menus along with the luxury of “premium” seats in various locations.
