Unauthorized structures to be removed in Birgunj

BIRGUNJ, SEPTEMBER 7 : The Birgunj Metropolis has taken the initiative to remove the unauthorized structures constructed by encroaching upon public roads. In this connection, the the municipality yesterday issued a 35-day public notice to those concerned to vacate such structures. Metropolis Mayor Rajesh Man Singh shared that the very notice was given calling for clearing off the unauthorized houses and huts in the areas for road expansion.

Such areas include Gandak Chowk, Snankaracharya Dwar, Ghantaghar, Maisthan, Mahabirsthan, Adarshanagar, etc.  According to Singh, if this notice is neglected by the related parties, his office will be compelled to bulldoze the illegal structures.
