Shangrila Motors starts handing over New Citroen e-C3

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 18: Shangrila Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Citroen vehicles in Nepal, has commenced the delivery of the highly anticipated Citroen e-C3 to customers. The new Citroen e-C3 is equipped with a 29.2kWh battery that provides "impressive" performance, featuring 57hp power and a peak torque of 143Nm. The  electric powertrain ensures smooth acceleration, offering an "exhilarating" driving experience.

"The e-C3's design boasts futuristic aesthetics, showcasing Citroen's commitment to innovation and aesthetics while enhancing both style and efficiency through aerodynamics," states a press release issued by the company.  "The vehicle's emission-free operation aligns with eco-friendly mobility, contributing to a cleaner environment without compromising performance." 

Shangrila Motors said that the battery life will remain unaffected even with multiple charges using a DC fast charger. The car comes with a battery pack warranty of 7 years or 140 thousand kilometers, and the electric motor is covered by a 5-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty.

The Citroen e-C3, a popular choice worldwide, has generated significant excitement in Nepal upon its arrival. It promises to make electric vehicles more accessible due to its affordability. The e-C3 is currently available at the "La Maison Citroën" showroom in Thapathali and will soon be available in various other showrooms across Nepal. The price for the Live variant is set at NPR 32.99 lakhs, while the Feel variant is priced at NPR 34.99 lakhs.
