NAC to fly between Kathmandu and Dammam from Sep 6
KATHMANDU, AUGUST 20: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is set to commence direct flights between Kathmandu and Dammam in Saudi Arabia. Starting from September 6, the national flag carrier plans to operate two flights per week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This marks NAC's 11th international flight destination.
Ramesh Poudel, NAC's spokesperson, stated that ticket bookings are opened, and the promotional fare for the Kathmandu-Dammam route is set at Rs 35,000. The airline aims to facilitate easier and more accessible travel for Nepali migrant workers in Saudi Arabia with this new flight connection.
The NAC fleet, consisting of two wide-body and two narrow-body aircraft, will serve these international routes. The airline also intends to increase flight frequency based on market demand.
