MetLife launches Nepal's first digital recruitment solution

KATHMANDU, March 24: MetLife (Nepal) has announced the launch of MetLife Agency Recruitment Solution (MARS), the country’s first digital recruitment platform for insurance consultants.

The “innovative” digital solution for recruiting and onboarding Insurance Consultants was unveiled by Vice President and General Manager Nirmal Kajee Shrestha from MetLife’s Head Office in Kathmandu together with other senior leaders on Monday (May 23).

In MARS, potential Insurance Consultants can sign up, create their profile with required documents, take their mandatory training online, and apply for licenses. Additionally, candidates can choose their own manager by analyzing profiles available in MARS, which will give them an opportunity to work with their desired mentor in the future and to experience a comprehensive journey as an agent.

“We are excited that this online solution will help MetLife bring the benefits of insurance protection to more customers across the country by enabling us to recruit more agents regardless of location,” said Mr. Shrestha during the launch event. “This digital portal once again shows our commitment to introducing new digital tools and platforms to make it easier and convenient for all our stakeholders to work with us.”

MARS is an addition to MetLife Nepal’s continuous transformation in digital sales with KITE (Keep in Touch Ever), DAP (Distribution Advantage Platform), and LMS (Leads Management System) already in use. This paperless solution will enable faster and more efficient recruitment of Consultants.
