Chairperson Malla also assured the Charge d'Affaires that the NCC will take the initiative to facilitate the Malaysian investment in this regard. "Malaysian is already the best labor destination for Nepal as around 400 thousand Nepali youths work there. In addition to labor, we request the Malaysian government for investment in other sectors, including business, tourism, hydropower, and information," Malla said .
In response, the Charge d'Affaires Hassan however said they were not clear about the law on the guarantee of returns although they were ready for the investment. "Malaysia has been expanding its investment in the IT sector in South Asian countries. But, further clarity on the policy regarding investment return is imperative," he stressed. ---
