Driving test to be conducted even on public holidays

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 10 : Thanks to the increasing traffic of those seeking driving licence, the transport management offices under the Bagmati Province will be conducting trial exams even on public holidays  as well as during the off-hour period in the morning. 

Such offices have been instructed by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Transport of the province to do so through a circular in order to each such traffic. "Transport management office sitiated at Thulo Bharyang in Kathmandu has already been operating driving test from 7 am in the morning, Now all other such related offices will also be required to follow suit," a source of the ministry was quoted as saying. 

It is reported that after the promulgation of the Work Procedure, 2078 B.S related to conducting driving test 1,5 months ago, the Thulo Bharyang office started to operate the trial exams in the morning time. The ministry source says that theincentives are provided to the staffers involved in operating trial exms during public holidays as well as the off-hours in the morning as per the work procedure.
