Nepal's economic growth to stand at 5.8 prcent in 2020: WB
KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 1 : The World Bank (WB) has expected that Nepal's economic growth will stand at 5.8 percent in 2022. Similarly, the WB, in its lately publicized "Nepal Development Report" projects the very growth to contract to 5.1 percent before further shrinking to 4.9 percent in 2024.
The inflation rate in 2022, 2023 and 2024 is forcast to be at 6.3 percent, 5.5 percent and 5.3 percent respectively. In 2023,the manufacturing sector will post the highest growth of 10.2 percent followed by the service and agriculture sectors at 5.9 percent and 2.3 percent respectively, the WB projects.
