‘Startup and Idea Fest" kicks off in capital

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 4: The ‘Startup and Idea Fest’ has today kicked off at Baneshwor Banquet in the capital.  The two-day fest is being organized by Living with ICT in collaboration with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

There are more than 100 stalls related to startups and innovations along with the participation of the best 12 finalists of Infodeveloper's ICT Award 2022.

In this fest, new technologies and innovations developed by various organizations like robots, drones, and rocket science equipment are on display.

According to the organizers, activities about steam camp, job fair, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technology, gaming competition, etc, are also taking place. 

The Squid of Changemaker and Innovate Ghar Nepal have collaborated on steam camp in particular. It is informed  More than 10,000 people are expected to visit the 2-day festival.

The number of footfalls on the first day of the fair stood at over 8,000.
