IME Electric sells more than 100 units of Raft Electric Scooters

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 07 : IME Electric, the sole authorized disstributor of Raft Motors, sold more than 100 units of electric scooters during the recently concluded festive season. Raft two-wheelers, with more than  than six models, have become extremely popular in Nepal in a very short period due to reasonable prices, extremely good  range, reliability, and very attractive looks, the company claims.

"The cost of running a Raft electric scooter is less than 30 paisa per km. So, it, unlike a petrol-run scooter, helps one to save about Rs. 2,50,000 within 3 years, thus recovering the almost full cost of the scooter."

Raft Electric Scooters are equipped with features such as a fireproof battery, reverse gear, height adjustable shock absorber, multi modes of driving, 10 Amp charger for fast charging, etc.  Thicker body for better protection, keyless start, DRL headlight, theft alarm, regenerative braking system, and portable battery are some other characteristics of them.
