Laxmi Bank’s 14th Extension Counter in Gola Bazaar, Shankhuwashabha
KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 29: Laxmi Bank yesterday inaugurated its 14th extension counter in Gola Bazar of Bhotkhola Rural Municipality in the Shankhuwashabha district.
With this, the total number of its extension counters now stands at 14. The bank has 143 branches across5 hospital service counters, 14 extension counters, 179 ATMs, over 2500 remittance agents, and 63 branchless banking agents across 50 districts of the country.
"We rapidly expanding to newer and underserved markets to service the growing demand for professional financial services such as innovative saving accounts, term deposits, home and auto loans, small business loans, microfinance, etc.," claims Laxmi adding," We also promote digital channels such as internet and mobile banking to complement the growing number of branches as part of the ‘bricks and clicks’ strategy allowing customers to reach us through a channel of their choice: branches, ATMs, internet, and mobile phones."
It closed the previous financial year 2020/21 with a balance sheet size of Rs 152 billion that includes deposits and risk assets of Rs 117 billion and Rs 108 billion respectively. All key financial indicators of the Bank are said to be well within prudential and regulatory norms.
