NIBL once again wins "Bank of the Year 2022"
KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 2 : For the sixth time, Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. (NIBL) has bagged away the prestigious "Bank of the Year 2022" title conferred by the Financial Times. Prithvi Bahadur Pandé, and Jyoti Prakash Pandey, chairman and CEO the bank respectively, received attended the award during a function held in London, United Kingdom yesterday.
"Getting recognized as the best bank in the country for so many times is a testament to our significant contributions towards Nepal's financial sector and society in general," states a press release issued by the bank. "It is also our willingness to strive toward growth and sustainability that has helped us bag this prestigious accolade."
The bank won the title by meeting the required criteria set by the Financial Times. Its upward growth and performance are said to be a result of strategic initiatives and technological advancements.
NIBL has been catering to its customer from 88 branches, 133 ATMs, 22 extension counters, 10 revenue collection counters, and 60 branchless banking counters.
