Sanima Education Loan verification via QR code

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 4 : Sanima Bank has introduced an Education Loan offer letter with an embedded Quick Response Code (QR code), the first of its kind in Nepal. The Bank has to verify the education loan of the respective students based on the request received from various concerned authorities. Hence, to "simplify and quickly deliver" the verification process, it introduced a QR code-embedded education loan offer letter.

At present,  any request received from various concerned authorities for verification of a loan offer letter is done through multiple phone calls and emails. Henceforth, the loan offer letter can be verified in a few moments from anywhere in the world from the official website of the Bank by scanning the QR code embedded in the offer letter. This system is also expected to help simplify and speed up the student visa process.

Sanima Education Loan can be applied through any branch of Sanima Bank, that is providing education loans for up to 15 years with a maximum loan limit of Rs. 10 million at an "attractive" interest rate.
