Newly appointed chair of MBL takes oath of office

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 11: Newly appointed chair of Machhapuchchhre Bank Ltd (MBL), Dr. Upendra Mahato has taken an oath of office and secrecy. He took it today from Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank at a program held in the capital.  The program was participated in by the Deputy Governor, Executive Director, and other officials of the central bank in addition to the Chief Executive Officer of the MBL.

The 472nd board meeting of the MBL held on November 28 had decided to appoint Dr. Mahato as its chairperson. He is also president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association.
