IME Motors, Everest Bank ink deal

KATHMANDU, MARCH 20: IME Motors, Ashok Leyland's authorized distributor for Nepal, and Everest Bank have entered into a loan agreement. The memorandum of understanding was today signed by Hemant Puranik, CEO of IME Motors, and Gaurav Kumar, Deputy General Manager on behalf of their respective organisations.


Customers can avail of this offer by visiting 17 Ashok Leyland showrooms and any branch of Everest Bank across the country. After the agreement, when purchasing vehicles provided by Ashok Leyland, a vehicle loan will be provided through the bank at the interest of approx. 14% for the maximum tenure of 7 years depending upon the customer profile.

"The whole process of providing load will be rapid and easy. The loan has been adjusted with the relevant guidelines and instructions of Nepal Rastra Bank," states the company


Ashok Leyland has a "strong presence in the Nepalese commercial vehicle market and has rapidly expanded its touch point (Showroom and service) all over Nepal. , Ashok Leyland is now claimed to be 2nd largest commercial vehicle brand in Nepal.
