KATHMANDU, MARCH 22: IME Motors, Ashok Leyland's authorized distributor for Nepal,  and Nabil Bank have entered into a loan agreement.
The memorandum of understanding was today signed by Hemant Puranik, CEO of IME Motors and Chandani Shrestha, Head of Retail Lending on behalf of their respective organisations.

Now, a vehicle loan through the bank will be given up to 70% of the principal amount when buying vehicles provided by Ashok Leyland. The entire loan-granting process will be very quick and easy and will be adjusted with the relevant guidelines and instructions of Nepal Rastra Bank, it is claimed.
Ashok Leyland has a strong presence in the Nepalese commercial vehicle market and has been expanding its touch point (Showroom and service) rapidly all over Nepal.  It is 2 nd largest commercial vehicle brand in Nepal.


Also, recently the company announced the maximum 5-year warranty in the automobile sector on its popular light commercial vehicles, aiming to provide a hassle-free ownership experience to its customers.
