The Department issued a notice on March 19, requesting industries, institutions, and projects to submit their self-monitoring reports. Since the notice, the Department has started receiving reports from various sectors, not just industries.

During the period mentioned in the notice, the Upper Marsyangdi 'A' hydropower project also submitted its second self-monitoring report.

These proactive industries include Asian Paints Nepal Pvt Ltd, Bottlers Nepal Limited, Gorkha Brewery, Panchakanya Group, Nimbus Cultivating Partnership, Reliance Spinning Mills Limited, Unilever Nepal Limited, and PBT Best Industries Limited.

In the last fiscal year 2079/80 BS, the Department received a total of 106 self-monitoring reports from 78 projects in different phases. This indicates a growing commitment from various sectors towards environmental monitoring and compliance.
