It’s the first single-cylinder engine to utilize cross port technology which increases the volumetric efficiency of the engine and enables a better flow of charge and exhaust gases. This ultimately results in better power and torque output, according to the release.
"Through better fueling, the throttle responds to even the smallest inputs with precision. Likewise, the ‘Sporty Classic’ persona of the motorcycle enhanced by the 13-spoke alloy wheels is strikingly outstanding and grabs the attention of classic motorcycle enthusiasts even more," it claims.
With a new seat pan and cushioning, the seat is said to have been re-engineered to provide additional comfort on extended rides. The retuned suspension & frame setup, twin exhausts, and "best-in-class braking system" offer a "top-notch" riding experience, as these are equipped with ABS by Continental, offering the shortest braking distance and best control among its competitors.
JAWA 42 Sports Stripe is available in three vivid colors: All-star Black, Orion Red, and Sirius. It costs Rs 7,58,000.
