Upper House begins deliberations on principle of budget

KATHMANDU, MAY 31: Deliberations on the principle of the estimates of income and expenditure for the new fiscal year 2022/23 have begun in today's session of the National Assembly, the Upper House of the Federal Parliament. This followed the proposal of the Finance Minister to hold general deliberation on the budget. Chair of the Upper House

 

Ganesh Prasad Timilsina called a House meeting to deliberate on the principle of budget and to respond to queries on the matter for May 31 and June 1. The annual national Budget is presented in the parliament in the Nepali month Jeth 15 (around May-end) every year as per the constitution.
