Everest, Gateway ink deal
KATHMANDU, MAY 31: Everest Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Gateway Payment Nepal Pvt. Ltd regarding the digital payment ecosystem. With this, the bank customers can now scan and initiate QR payments in India for goods and services purchased at various outlets which accept PayTM, GooglePay, PhonePe etc.
Similarly, the Nepalese migrants residing in India can send money directly to their Everest Bank’s account. The signing of the deal will also enable Indian tourists traveling to Nepal to make payments at any merchant in Nepal and vice versa.
