Ministers to respond on Appropriation Bill from Monday
KATHMANDU, JUNE 13 : Deliberations on Appropriation Bill, 2079 BS from the lawmakers have ended from Sunday. Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota informed the House that ministers would respond to the concerns raised by the lawmakers under the different headings of various ministries from the next meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR).
On Sunday, lawmakers put forth their views on the Appropriation Bill under the different headings of the Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Health and Population, National Planning Commission Secretariat, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Office of the President and Office of the President.
On June 13, concerned ministers will respond to the issues raised by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Welfare, Ministry of Forest and Environment, Ministry of Urban Development, Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation and other ministries. Meanwhile, the House meeting on Sunday passed a condolence motion in the passing away of ex-MP Bhadra Bahadur Thapa. Thapa was elected from Palpa Constituency-1 in the parliamentary election in 2056 BS. He was also an MP in the Interim Legislature-Parliament. Thapa had died on June 11.
