AmChap holds progress meeting
KATHMANDU, JUNE 21 : The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Nepal organized an event for its members this week in Kathmandu. At the event, the chairperson Mr. Ajit Shah discussed about the accomplishments of AmCham since its formal establishment in November.
AmCham now has 28 members with three committees. To determine the committees, AmCham conducted a survey among the members and potential members. Based on the feedback, the committees were divided into Advocacy and Policy, Finance and Networking.
The committee will now work to address various issues and facilitate connections between US and Nepalese companies so that local companies can build to expand its business working with US companies and increase awareness of opportunities for US companies to invest in Nepal.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal) is an association of American business organizations operating in Nepal.
