Establishment of industrial villages demanded at local levels

KATHMANDU, JUNE 25: The Nepal National Entrepreneurs Federation has asked the federal government to establish industrial villages at local levels across the country. During the central committee meeting of the Federation  yesterday, the entrepreneurs said the government should create an industry-friendly environment to make the country's economy robust.

President of the Federation, Kumar Karki, said the government should encourage the entrepreneurs in the country and assure them easy access to the customs points. "Training centres should be established to produce human resources needed for the industries," he added.

Likewise, he asked the government to establish coordination with the private sector to run the sick industries and provide collateral-free loans to the business persons. The Federation has urged the government to embrace special policies to ensure self-employment for the returnee migrant workers.
