Paramount Motors unveils MG ZS EV 2022

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 27: Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of MG Motors in Nepal, has officially launched a new model, MG ZS EV 2022 in an event held in its showroom today at Naxal in the capital.  The new electric vehicle, available in two variants namely Standard Range & Long Range, boasts of two battery pack options- one with a 51.5 kWh Hi-Tech battery with a range of 319KM* and another with a 72.6 kWh battery with a range of 440KM*. Its ground clearance is 175 mm.

MG ZS EV 2022 comes with a new update in its interior and exterior. The interior is designed with a 10.1inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 7-inch digital driver's display identical. It has a rotary-dial gear knob, driving mode, and braking regeneration and comes with headlamps, integrated LED DRLs and LED tail lamps.

With the extensive range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with automatic emergency braking, grouped together under the name MG Pilot, the vehicle is also claimed to be very safe.

Powered by a PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) with a power of 130KW and 280 Nm of torque, it reaches from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. MG ZS EV 2022 adopts MG signature global design cues and comes loaded with features such as a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, PM 2.5 Filter, etc.

Moreover, it is equipped with a powered driver's seat automatic headlights and wipers, connected car technology, six airbags, hill start, descent control all-wheel disc brakes, tyre pressure monitoring system, and electronic stability control.

The charging port is placed next to the MG badge. And it also features mobile wireless charging blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist.
