Govt to implement "One House, One Tap" program
KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 28 : Minister for Drinking Water, Umakant Chaudhary has directed the Nepal Drinking Water Corporation to take steps to control the leakage of drinking water and recover its pending dues.
Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Nepal Water Supply Corporation in Kathmandu on Sunday, he made such a direction.

According to him, the government is also intensifying the work of the Melamchi Drinking Water Project to bring its water to Kathmandu within the stipulated time.
Minister Chaudhary also revealed the formation of the Drinking Water Tariff Assessment Commission in a few days. “The commission has been vacant for some years now, and we have the process to fulfil it.”
