"I am serious concerned about deteriorating economy:"

KATHMANDU, MARCH 8 : Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his grave concerns over the deteriorating situation of the country's economy. He did so during an intercation program with the stakeholders concerned on Monday in the capital. 

Vice-President of the National Planning Commission Bishwa Poudel, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari, Finance Secretary Madhu Kumar Marasini, etc. were present during the program.

Premier Deuba disussed them about the  possibility of coming up with new plans and polices so as to arrest the continous downturn in the economy.

It may be noted that the country's  economy  is being severaly marred by anamolies like widening trade deficit,  depleting foreign currency reserves and declining inflow of remmitance. Likewise, there have been debiliating impacts of the uremmiting rise in petrolum prices and spending of large amount of money to import Covid-9 related vaccines on the economy.

In this connection, PM Deuba issued directed the participating officials to take the steps neccesary to resolve  the prevailing economic woes.
