FCAN to hold its 23rd AGM, 12th  Covention from March 11-13

KATHMANDU, MARCH 10 : Federation of Contractors’ Association Nepal (FCAN) will be holding its 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and 12th Convention from March 11 to 13 at the Nepal Academy in the capital.   

“The said AGM and Convention, to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, will be participated in by 1,200 representatives and 1,200 observers.  During the inaugural session of the AGM, the PM is scheduled to launch the special edition of the Construction, the mouthpiece of the FCAN.  The holding of the Convention will see the election of its new executive committee (EC),”  informed the FCAN holding a press conference on Wednesday in the capital.

During the AGM, “Kathmandu Declaration” will be issued after conducting intense discussions  on the proposed 11th amendment of the Public Procurement Act.

The FCAN plans to showcase 30 stalls outside the hall of the convention belonging to different companies.

In order successfully accomplish the 23rd AGM and 12th Convention, the main organizing committee under the leadership of the outgoing president of FCAN, Rabi Singh has also been formed.
