Process for applying new driving license again halted

KATHMANDU, MARCH 15 : The Department of Transportation  (DoT) has again put a halt to the process of applying for new driving license. Issuing a notice on Monday, it announced that the very process was stopped in order to sort out the existing license applictations.

According to offcials of the DoT, around 400 thousand individuals,  are now awaiting for the driving trial date by already submitting the applications.

They also state that the new application process will be resumed after around 1 month. "The very process will facilitate the applicants to go for the required trial just after a week of submitting application."
