Nabil, Unilever ink deal on channel financing
KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 9: Nabil bank Limited and Unilever Nepal Limited have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement regarding the facility of channel financing. It was signed by CEO of Unilever Nepal, Amlan Mukherjee, and CEO of Nabil Bank, Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana on behalf of their respective organisations during a program held in the capital.
With this strategic partnership, the channel partners of Unilever Nepal can avail themselves of the channel financing facility with attractive pricing and collateral support. The very facility also allows distributors to receive the full value of bills issued to the channel partners through bank financing. Furthermore, the registered partners can also enjoy various other SME loan facilities to meet their financing requirements.
During the function, Unilever Nepal provided a ‘Reference Letter’ to its three key distributors for the channel Financing from the bank.
