Ajod Insurance, eBeema sign deal on insurance plans

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 9 : AJOD Insurance Company Limited and Ebeema.com have entered into a professional agreement regarding public insurance plans. With the signing of the agreement, Ebeema.com will act as an institutional agency and will

integrate general insurance plans/products into its “state-of-the-art” digital platform.

 According to these companies, the deal will make it easier and more accessible for the general public to acquire insurance plans.

Chief Executive Officer for AJOD Insurance, Mr. Kumar Bahadur Khatri, said, “We believe in creating easier mediums for general public to access insurance services and eBeema seems to be a competent and promising digital platform. We are delighted and optimistic about this association.”

The latest association with AJOD Insurance goes on to signify the importance of digital intermediaries in the Nepalese Insurance Market today, according to Managing Director of Ebeema, Mr. Roshan Gyawali.

AJOD Insurance is founded and supported by leading bankers, and highly fervid professionals having “successful” career history from various fields like hydropower, supermarkets, real estate, diplomacy.

Similarly, Ebeema.com claims itself to be Nepal’s first digital insurance service provider. It has been active in digitizing various insurance products and services since 2015.
