RAFT Electric Scooters handed over to Lalitpur Metropolitan

KATHMANDU, JULY 21 : The authorized distributor of RAFT Electric Scooter in Nepal, IME Electric Pvt Ltd, has handover 5 units of Electric scooter to Lalitpur Metropolitan City which were further handed over to Lalitpur Metropolitan City Police today at an event organized by the Metropolitan City. Speaking at the event, Mr. Chiri Babu Maharjan, Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, announced that all the vehicles to be purchased by LMC in the coming days will be electric.

He claimed that there will be no petrol, diesel-powered vehicles. He told the Quick Response Team that these bikes were purchased to reach the area immediately in case of any problem within the metropolis. 5 units of RAFT warrior scooter with a range of 100 km were handed over during the program. In Nepal, apart from Warrior, Teesta, Indus, Nubra , and Jipsa are the models of scooters available with the company.

The unique features in the scooters are Keyless start, remote locking, indicator buzzer, portable battery, theft alarm, digital display, automatic charger cut off, revers gear, regenerative braking system and many more.
