German company to supply 1.2 million smart license cards

KATHMNDU, FEBRUARY 24: The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has recently awarded a contract to Muhlbauer ID Services GmbH to supply 1.2 million units of smart license cards.

According to the  DoTM, the awarding of this contract worth Rs 199.85 will help the process of printing and distributing such license cards. It shortlisted this Germany-based company out of the bidding called in October 2022.  Earlier, the department had acquired 1.4 million units of smart license cards from Madras Security Printers, India.
