Free training to help women join construction industry
KATHMANDU, MARCH 10 : To mark International Women's Day of this year, Escorts Nepal's authorized distributor, IME automotive, has announced the launch of a new campaign geared towards empowering women. Under the campaign, free training will be provided to interested ladies that includes both in-depth theory and practical workshops.
The very training is designed to help them acquire the skills to operate the backhoe loader and obtain a vehicle license, and they will also be assisted in finding secure employment opportunities in the related field. The company believes that empowering women through such
an initiative that will change the stereotypical beliefs regarding women.
“We believe that women can contribute significantly to the Construction Industry," stated Hemant Puranik, CEO of IME Automotives adding, "By offering this free training, we hope to empower women and provide them with the tools they need to succeed."
All women, regardless of their age or background, are welcome to attend the training program. Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training, which they can use to demonstrate their newly acquired skills to potential employers.
