KATHMANDU, JUNE 30: If you wish to enjoy a paranomic 360-degree view of the Kathmandu valley by walking in the sky, get prepared to fulfill it.  The Skywalk Tower situated at downtown Kamaladi in the capital has opened for the visit of the general public today. Open from 8 a.m to 8 p.m,   its ticket price is set at Rs 1000 per person   Te tower is the first-of-its-kind infrastructure in the country

"The iconic structure boasts an investment of Rs 2 billion and is 78.5 meters tall. From here which is above the height of skyscrapers in Kathmandu city,  one can have a bird eye view of the magnificent valley," states Aawishkar Pokharel, chairman of Wonder Nepal, the constructor of Skywalk Tower. On its 18th, 19th, and 20th floors, there is an Amphitheater restaurant for those who also want to relish cuisines.  The restaurant has a seating capacity of 1,000 people.

The 21 floor of the tower allows one to take visual delight in the surrounding areas dotted with historic landmarks like Tri-Chandra Multiple Collage, Raani Pokhari, Ghanta Ghar, Tudikhel, etc.   Similarly, from here, the lush green hills circling the valley can be clearly seen.In the topmost part of the tower lies the deck area which can accommodate up to 500 people.

The Skywalk is spread across 15 ropanies of land that is featured parking areas, garden, etc.
