“Summit Woman of the  Year-  2022” held

KATHMANDU, APRIL 1 : Open Space Network has organized “Summit Woman of the  Year  2022” to  recognize  and  honor those business women who are  below the age of 30  and  making  positive social  impacts with sound and sustainable plans/strategies.  It was held on Thursday at Heritage Garden in Sanepa, Lalitpur.

 

In the very award program, there were a total 81 applicants from 15 cities in all 7  provinces, out  of  which  top  30  were  shortlisted.  And, among them, 7 were selected as top finalists. They include Ang Chhechi Sherpa, Lukla Outdoor; Isha Balla, Co-Founder/ Managing Director-Khaanpin; Kajol Jha Thakur, Co-Founder and Managing Director-Glocal Academy of Skills Pvt. Ltd.; Kritika Lamsal, Co-owner-Sweet Fix; Sajal Malla, The Malla Inc.; Shreeya Giri, Founder/Managing Director -Happyminds and Shreya Katuwal, Co-Founder- Bihe Nepal.

 

Of  them,  one  was finally declared as the winner of the title  “Summit  Woman of  the Year- 2022", Kritika Lamsal, by the jury of four members  consisting of  Sulav Budhathoki, Founder/Chairman of ING Group:  Corey  O’ Hara,  Nepal  Country  Director  IDE ; Dr. ShrujanacShrestha, Owner of Absolute Aesthetic Clinic and Chhaya Sharma, Founder of Nepal College of Travel and Tourism.

 

She was honored with Rs.1, 00,000 and a Diamond Pendant from Shalimar Jewellers as recognition.Sweet Fix run by her makes popsicles from natural fruits and locally sourced ingredients that are a healthier and delicious alternative to packaged frozen treats.

 

The jury of four members  consisting of  Sulav Budhathoki, Founder/Chairman of ING Group:  Corey  O’ Hara,  Nepal  Country  Director  IDE ; Dr. ShrujanacShrestha, Owner of Absolute Aesthetic Clinic and Chhaya Sharma, Founder of Nepal College of Travel and Tourism on 22ndMarch  and  the  main  announcement  was  done on  31stMarch 2022 at Heritage Garden, Sanepa.

 

The Summit Woman  of  the  Year 2022  recognition was  given to Ms.Kritika Lamsalof Sweet Fix makes popsicles from natural fruits and locally sourced ingredients that are a healthier and delicious alternative to packaged frozen treats. She was honored with Rs.1, 00,000and a Diamond Pendant from Shalimar Jewellers as recognition.

 

According to the organizers, the prime objective behind the event is  to  inspire  young    generation of  women to  lead  the  business with  creative  ideas by challenging  all  the  hurdles  and  status  quo prevailing in the patriarchal  society  of  Nepal.
