New electric scooter hits Nepali roads
KATHMANDU, APRIL 13 : iHub Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of the US-based electric scooter manufacturer of Segway-Ninebot for Nepal, has launched Segway E125.
“This new electric two-wheeler scooter is equipped with a lot of unique innovations and many sensors. The scooter can be locked remotely, tracked and trigger an alarm when the scooter is lost. It is also equipped with an advanced anti-theft system, which is integrated into the complete body of the scooter,” states a press release issued by the company.
Similarly, Segway E125 has a maximum motor power 2,400 watt Bosch electric motor for a top speed of 75kmph. It features 74V&27 Ah lithium batteries for a driving range of 60 to 120km in full charge. Average charging time for this e-scooter is 5-6 hours. Equipped with Bosch’s 10th generation dual-channel ABS brakes, this scooter also offers “exceptional” braking performance.
Available in two cool color options – White & Gray, it is priced at Rs 3,91,000.
